Love in Action Hosts Car Wash Fundraiser - A Sparkling Event for a Good Cause

Updated: Dec 6, 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INGLEWOOD, CA – Love in Action, a leading non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral and mental illness, is thrilled to announce their upcoming Car Wash Fundraiser. The event will be held in Inglewood on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Car Wash Fundraiser aims to raise $7,000 to fund Love in Action's inaugural Annual Charity Gala and support the opening of a new adult daycare program in Inglewood. This innovative program is designed to provide quality care and support to developmentally disabled community members, focusing on job placement, weight management, and fostering creativity.

We are continuously looking for a location in Inglewood that would be willing to host our event. We aim to locate a space with enough room for 25 Love in Action volunteers. The team expects to wash up to 350 cars, turning grime into glow for a good cause. This location will be recognized as one of Love In Action's Proud Sponsors for our Annual Charity Gala.

"We are beyond excited for this event," said Brandi Zike, Marketing Director at Love in Action. "The Car Wash Fundraiser is more than just a fun day; it's an opportunity for our community to come together and make a tangible difference in the lives of some of our most vulnerable neighbors."

Love in Action asserts that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved and the protection of property. Comprehensive liability insurance covers the event, underlining the organization's commitment to a safe and successful fundraiser.

Members of the media are invited to cover this event. For media inquiries or to RSVP, please contact Brandi Zike at marketing@lovehomeinc.org.
